I'm legally deaf and when I'm downstairs watching this show, I don't always hear the conversations due to how noisy background sounds can be sometimes. That makes me feel frustrated and confused about what they're talking about. I didn't hear the conversations with Scarlet that well, so rewatching this I can finally hear the conversation clearly!

She’s played an asian character in the past (basically yellow face) and was going to play a trans character and still didn’t see the issue with taking those roles from actual asian and trans people. She doubled down on her choice on social media and only gave a half hearted apology. In ghost in the shell it was ridiculous, at one point the character goes home to see her parents and they are literally two old Asian people. She’s like 2 feet taller than them and doesn’t even look like she’s from the same continent. Smh.
